A late V-Day Message for you

"If you love something, set it free. If it comes back, it's yours. If it doesn't, it never was."

That is probably the most often used quote about relationships, usually uttered by someone who is trying to get out of the relationship. This line is really about the person that's leaving actually wanting to get a head start. You have about two weeks or so, while the other person wonders if you're ever coming back.

I say if you love something, hobble it like Kathy Bates did to James Caan in Misery. That way you can easily drag it back if it tries to escape.
